Kappa Sigma - University of Miami

  • The Epsilon Beta Chapter

The Oldest College Fraternity at UM

Founded August 28, 1939 and Re-Chartered in 2013, Kappa Sigma was the first National Greek Organization here at the University of Miami.

    "Bononia Docet"

Our motto in English, "Bologna Teaches" reaches back to Kappa Sigma's 15th Century founding in Italy. Built as group preaching mutual protection among students at the University of Bologna, similar values of Brotherhood and Academic Excellence define the Fraternity today.
